The pandemic and subsequent lockdowns have brought greater awareness of the fragility of countries, which are too dependent on imported raw materials. The local cultivation of foodstuffs has become a priority on which many countries are orienting their political and economic decisions, especially those in Africa, which are rich in resources but lack the necessary technologies and skills.
Three for Africa is the key that combines sustainable agriculture, professional training and accessibility to healthy food for local communities. The "Zenzero Model" expresses its energy in an ethical and social enterprise project with a green approach to cultivation processes and respect for workers.
Three for Africa sowed its first seed in Senegal, in the city of Thiès, growing 9 hectares of fruit and vegetables for the domestic market, with women at the centre of the project, so as to be integrated within the social and economic system of the area.

Il progetto Three for Africa unisce agricoltura e allevamento sostenibili, formazione professionale e accessibilità a un’alimentazione sana.
Il primo seme è stato piantato in Senegal, nella città di Thiès, coltivando 9 ettari di ortofrutta e creando
3 ettari di allevamento di galline da uova: due interventi significativi che vedono le donne al centro dell’attività e le comunità locali come beneficiarie. In questo modo il “Modello Zenzero” esprime la sua energia in un progetto di impresa etica e sociale con un approccio green nei processi di coltivazione e rispettoso nei confronti dei lavoratori.
